Q What needs to be included on my prescription?
A If an "Rx Required" CPAP mask is the only item in your order, your prescription would only need to state for "CPAP Supplies" or "CPAP equipment". If you are purchasing other "Rx Required" products, there may be other prescription requirements that will be listed in FAQ tab of the product page.
Q Is headgear required for this item?
A Yes, headgear is required for this item. However, if your mask frame and cushion have worn out but your headgear is still functioning properly, you can purchase the assembly kit HERE.
Q How can I fit my Eson Nasal CPAP Mask?
A Watch the video provided in our image library above to understand how to properly fit your mask.
Q How do I know which size to choose?
A Make sure this is to scale, print it out, and follow the directions to find your perfect fit.
Q Is this product out of date with the release of the Eson 2 Nasal CPAP Mask?
A No, this original Eson Nasal CPAP Mask is still available for purchase, but is of course, a bit different than the Eson 2 Nasal CPAP Mask. Both masks are great options.
Introduction
Fitting
In order to avoid hygienic issues or improper mask usage, regular replacement is essential. Nasal mask cushions are constantly in close contact with your face, and its position on your nose can make you more prone to a nasty nasal infection if you do not replace frequently. Therefore, you should replace your Eson Nasal Cushion, which can be purchased HERE every two weeks.
CPAP mask tubing is susceptible to developing small holes or tears which may not even be visible to the naked eye. These can cause air leaks, and if your tube is leaking, you may not be receiving your prescribed therapy setting from your CPAP. This may cause you to feel as if your sleep therapy is not working as intended, even though it is. Therefore, you should replace your tubing (Check out some tubing offered by ApriaDirect HERE) once every three months.
Your frame system is in close proximity to your face, and therefore needs to be replaced relatively frequently. However, it is not directly touching your face, which is why it doesn't need to be replaced quite so often. We do not sell the Eson Nasal CPAP Mask Frame, but instead sell the Eson Nasal CPAP Mask Assembly Kit, which includes absolutely everything you need besides the headgear, and can be purchased HERE. The Eson Nasal CPAP Mask Assembly Kit should be replaced once every three months.
Over time, your CPAP headgear and chin straps may become stretched and lose their elasticity, leading to over-tightening and discomfort. They can also trap bacteria from sweat and moisture. Therefore, your Eson Nasal CPAP Mask Headgear should be replaced every six months. To purchase, please click HERE.
Your diffuser is necessary to reduce noise level by up to 8 dB! This pack of 10 should be replaced once every 4-6 months, or whenever all diffusers appear tarnished. To purchase, please click HERE.
