You may find that it costs less than your typical out-of-pocket costs for your CPAP equipment and your reoccurring CPAP supplies. *You may also be able to utilize your health savings plan for the Bongo Rx. We recommend that you check with your insurance company.
*Qualified Medical Expenses. Funds you withdraw from your HSA are tax-free when used to pay for qualified medical expenses as described in Section 213(d) of the Internal Revenue Service Tax Code. The Bongo RX Starter Kit is intended to be purchased so that you can figure out what size works for you. The Starter Kit includes a drying stand, travel case, one seal of each size (Extra Small, Small, Medium, and Large), which should each last 90 days, and an optional headgear accessory. First time buyers of the Bongo RX are strongly recommended to purchase the Bongo RX Starter Kit rather than the annual kit, as no returns are accepted on the Bongo RX Annual Kit for sizing issues.
The Bongo RX Annual Kit also includes a drying stand, travel case, and optional headgear, but it comes with four nasal seals in the size of your choice, which should last you approximately 360 days combined. This can be purchased HERE.
If you choose to use the headgear and wish to replace it, it is recommended you replace it once every six months, if not more frequently. You can purchase the Bongo RX Headgear HERE.
