Q Can I take this battery on an airplane?
A Yes, it meets FAA requirements for carry-on baggage, however, it may not be taken in your checked baggage due to rules regarding spare lithium-ion batteries (batteries not installed in a device).
Q Can I use my Freedom CPAP Battery to power my PAP Device during flight?
A Although it is approved for carry-on baggage, different airlines may have specific requirements regarding the use of PAP devices and/or lithium-ion batteries in flight, so it is best to check with your specific airline.
Q Can I use heated humidification while using the Freedom CPAP Battery?
A You can, but it will significantly reduce run times by up to two thirds.
Q How long does the Freedom CPAP Battery take to charge?
A Each battery takes approximately 4 hours to charge.

Please note that these figures are without the use of heated humidification and heated tubing and were on a pressure setting of 10cm/H20. Run times are estimates and are dependent on several factors, including the device type, pressure setting, environmental factors, and humidifier use.
Use of heated humidification and heated tubing will reduce run times by approximately two-thirds, and if you plan to use the Freedom Battery on a BiPAP or an APAP, you will experience lower run times as it requires power to shift pressure to operate the machine throughout the night.
