A Yes, the DreamStation Go Auto is approved for in-flight usage by the FAA.
Q What is an integrated battery and does the DreamStation Go Auto have one?
A An integrated battery is a battery inside the CPAP that can power it even if it is not connected to any cables or external batteries. The DreamStation Go Auto does have one, and it lasts for up to 8 hours.
Q I have multiple pressure settings, do I have to buy the DreamStation Go Auto CPAP Machine?
A Although you don't have to buy the DreamStation Go Auto CPAP Machine specifically, if you have more than one pressure setting listed on your prescription, you MUST purchase an APAP machine.
Q Is there a free trial on this machine?

Q If I only have one pressure setting, should I buy the DreamStation Go Auto CPAP Machine or the DreamStation Go Standard CPAP Machine?
A Both the DreamStation Go Auto CPAP Machine and the DreamStation Go Standard CPAP Machine work for a single pressure setting, so either one works, but if you suspect you may someday need an auto-adjusting CPAP machine, the DreamStation Go Auto CPAP Machine would be better.

Q Does the DreamStation Auto include an information display?
A Yes, an information display is included on the DreamStation Auto.
Q Can the DreamStation Go Heated Humidifier and the DreamStation Overnight Battery at the same time?
A Unfortunately, you may not use the Heated Humidifier and the DreamStation Overnight Battery at the same time.
Q Am I required to use a DreamStation Go filter?
A Yes, a filter is required to use the DreamStation Go Auto and Standard and can be purchased HERE.
Q What kind of humidifier is the DreamStation Go Heated Humidifier?
A The DreamStation Go Heated Humidifier is water-based, meaning that the heated humidifier heats water in a tank over the course of the night which adds moisture to the delivered therapy air.
Q A message popped up on the device stating " Stop therapy, remove and then reinsert water tank” , what should I do?
A This message will show up if the humidifier water tank is incorrectly seated on the humidifier heater plate. To fix this issue:
1. Stop therapy
2. Remove and then reinsert the water tank
3. Visually inspect to make sure that the water tank is not seated on an angle.
Once complete, you may resume therapy. If inserted correctly, the pop-up should not appear again.
Q What types of water can I use with the DreamStation Go Heated humidifier?
A Unlike many other CPAP humidifiers, the DreamStation Go Heated Humidifier does not necessarily need distilled water. However, the water must be drinkable, such as tap, bottled, or distilled water. Never use biologically unsafe water, such as from a stream, well, lake, or river.
Q What diameter tubing can be used with the DreamStation Go Heated Humidifier?
A The DreamStation Go Heated Humidifier works with DreamStation 12mm micro-flexible, 15mm and 22mm tubing.
Q How much water can the DreamStation Go Heated Humidifier hold?
A The DSG Heated Humidifier tank holds 240ml of water.
Q What is Target Time?
A Target Time is a special feature on the DreamStation Go Heated Humidifier which allows users to specify the amount of time they intend to use the device nightly.
If it is enabled, the device will adjust humidification output so that water is consumed evenly over the specified time period. Users are able to select Off, Auto, or 4 - 10 hours in 0.5 hour increments. This setting is only available in Adaptive humidification mode. When set to Auto Humidification Mode, the device automatically sets the target time based on a users’ past device usage hours.
Q What are the necessary components of a CPAP prescription?
A A complete and accurate CPAP prescription contains all of the following information:
- Must indicate one of the following: Continuous Positive Airway Pressure, or CPAP
- Your physician's signature
- Your physician's contact information
- The patient's full name
- Your specific single pressure setting: ____ CM/H20
- Valid date
Q What are the necessary components of an APAP prescription?
A A complete and accurate APAP prescription contains all of the following information:
- Must indicate one of the following: AutoPAP, APAP, Auto Adjusting or Self Adjusting CPAP, Auto Set, Auto CPAP, Continuous Positive Airway Pressure or CPAP
- Your physician's signature
- Your physician's contact information
- The patient's full name
- Your pressure range: from ____ to ____CM/H20
